Matt Grimmett makes wheel-thrown slipware inspired by traditional British slipware techniques with an emphasis on form. Matt decorates using a range of slips, making use of a variety of techniques such as combing, trailing, and splashing slip, to create pots which exhibit movement and skill, and with a certain finesse that only years of production can achieve.
