Angie Lewin and St Jude’s
Angie Lewin specialises in botanical studies, spending a lot of time outdoors sketching in watercolour making intense studies of plant structures. These sketches form the basis for limited edition lino, wood-engraving and litho prints, some of which are then translated into printed textile designs for St.Jude’s.
St.Jude’s was founded in 2005 by Angie Lewin and her husband Simon, after a suggestion that Angie’s work might translate well onto printed fabric. The idea took root and, in addition to Angie’s prints, St.Jude’s collaborates with a small group of artists to create and print unique fabrics and wallpapers which are printed in the UK.
The Tinsmiths’ collection of St.Jude’s fabrics can be found in the drop-down menu.
