Mark Hearld Framed Collage – Paper Cut Pigeon MHFPP1

This unique collage was made for Tinsmith’s 20th Anniversary Exhibition, Paper Cut Pigeons & Brass Boots and features a single pigeon in flight.

Mark Hearld created this collage using coloured paper, which he snipped into shape by hand in his energetic signature style; the background has been created using a paper paste technique. The collage is encased in a small, glazed wooden frame which Mark has elevated by painting in a bold, freehand style.
